Avery Dennison YinzCam partnership

MENTOR, Ohio — November 14, 2024 —  Avery Dennison (NYSE:AVY), a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions, and YinzCam, a global leader in mobile apps for sports, have agreed a multi-year innovation partnership. The alliance aims to enhance YinzCam’s focus on team sports globally through Embelex, Avery Dennison’s portfolio of solutions for on-garment branding.

Embelex is at the forefront of unlocking consumer experiences through customization, personalization, and smart solutions in the apparel, footwear, and accessories sectors. Through its digitally enabled branding elements, seamlessly integrated with YinzCam's digital platform and experiences, the collaboration promises to blend the best of physical and digital fan experiences, fostering deeper connections through cutting-edge technology.

This strategic partnership follows Avery Dennison’s recent acquisitions of apparel embellishment and sportswear customization specialists Lion Brothers and Silver Crystal, who bring decades of experience and product catalog to Avery Dennison’s growing Embelex portfolio. With league licenses across major professional global sports, expect to see more digitally connected jerseys hitting shelves as new seasons approach.

Founded out of Carnegie Mellon University in 2009, YinzCam has built a fan-first, personalization-first, customizable approach to developing digital products for sports teams. Originally built as a platform to tap into multiple camera angles for fans attending the game to view replays on their smartphones, YinzCam has grown into a full-service digital fan engagement company, with its mobile apps serving as business tools for its clients.
